It is difficult to describe, you have to cross this open air museum
and discover what it can give you.
Desert
first love, takes your soul, it makes you love it without compromise.
I'm
still filled with emotion from its sky so blue, its aroma so
intense and intoxicating, the pinnacles, its endless dunes,
with its infinite invisible force, yet protected between its
emptiness and man.
It
makes you forget that there is a different reality, unreal silence,
infinite spaces, the breath of the wind, helped me to rediscover
my soul: and you never get rid of all these sensations you just
want to return immediately.
In
the desert unforeseen unthinkable things happen, you have nothing
but you do not miss anything.
Thanks
Carla for letting me discover all these emotions.
Thanks
Max for your endless cooperation and your generosity for making
the wilderness a comfortable place and sometimes even joyful.
Thanks
Lauren for your smiles that greeted us upon our arrival at the
camp and for making me discover the teas that I can not do without.
Well
thanks to everyone for giving me a birthday that I will never
forget.
affectionately,
Roberto

Days
passed in the Desert are moments of life that have a high impact.
You
walk and you live in this cradle of the spirit, savoring the nothingness
and filling the soul with everything.
The
time unfortunately passes in a moment.
And
in a way you don't notice, it is impossible to stop the real process,
the real "therapy".
There
are new thoughts that give a totally different prospective to
each of us.
The
Desert has given me a new maturity and a great strength.
Thanks
to Max, Lauren and Carla for coming with me on this magical journey.
I
found a new path inside of me and everyday I can take a step further.
Every
now and then I turn and see it
My
clear footprints drawn in the everyday city asphalt.

I
reach the high point in the evening when, after a day immersed
in the most beautiful and astonishing scenery and no longer tired,
I arrive at camp and realize the sufficiency of a tent, a fire
and above all an amazing sunset and an increasingly darkening
sky, that is so full of life that I forget it is above me.
At this point you welcome the "family" to huddle around,
including Carla, who is close by all day, quiet and a reliable
point of reference, always ready to help and encourage you, Lauren,
giver of serenity, smiles and teas, and Max, with his exuberance,
his enthusiasm that infects you after hours of walking. At this
point the sky surrounds you and Desert Therapy makes you say "again"

The
desert awaits those who want to discover it. And I discovered the
silence, colors, sculptures, fatigue, unimaginable landscapes, star-filled
skies (which I had forgotten existed), signs of life that fight
daily, dazzling light and complete darkness. But the desert also
provides a way for you to discover yourself, who you are, and who
you share it with.
Thank you Carla, I thanked you before our departure, and now, I
thank you even more for having stayed close to me in this immersion
of myself.
