Desert!
A place without borders, where the domed sky ceiling surrounds
you warmly in its arms. The desert amplified my senses: hearing
(the wind that talks through the dunes, through the woody roots),
sight (myriads of sand formations, iron, rocks, that look like
faces, people, objects and...and...something undefinable, but
wonderful), touch (feeling with the hands the cold sand, that
is welcoming, and the rocks like talcum powder), the smell of
a healthy, clean home. And then, another inner sense: welcomed
(the desert welcomed me and gave me the opportunity to welcome
it) Thanks.

I
always liked the desert
You don't see anything
You don't hear anything
Yet something shines in the silence
I
ask myself if the stars are lit so everyone can find theirs.
By the young Prince of A. de Saint- Exupèry
Thank
you desert for letting me find my star,
Thank you Carla for the powerful emotions I experienced,
Thank you Max for your availability and your enthusiasm,
Thank you to the group for the attention and affection you demonstrated
on our daily journey, and in particular in the evening at camp,
when united and enthusiastically, (under the sea of stars) we
shared about the emotions we experienced during the day, and many
many secrets that only the desert can make emerge from the soul
of each one of us. Unparalleled and marvellous moments that I
will never forget!
And a heart-felt thanks again to the big family of Desert Therapy;
sponsor, drivers, cook, cammelliere, camels for accompanying me
on this magic and marvellous adventure.

This
trip, spectacular and fascinating, with its warm and mysterious
aspects, made me more calm and serene, with a close- knit group,
a continuous fairy tale, with its landscapes, with Carla and Max
who led us by hand in a photographic labyrinth.
Thanks Carla, thanks Max for everything you have given me.

A
journey that will enrich you both for the emotions aroused by the
scenery, and for the contribution of the group to live this experience
"together".
It will change our mode of living a little, and perhaps our lives?
Inchallah!

I
am telling all of my friends/ family/ acquaintances about the journey
and I must say that few understand and/or appreciate what we did!
For me it was a wonderful experience- for me, who left with all
the fear in the world because it was my first experience in a
tent and I knew I didnt have proper physical preparation.
Instead it was all incredibly beautiful, relaxing, and not tiring.
It is a journey to recommend to everyone, because it leaves you
with an inner peace that increases every time you look at the
pictures, or think of the starry sky, or the white pinnacles and
golden sand and amethyst colored rocks!
It
is a journey to do again- absolutely- inchallah!
Hello
to everyone and thank you.

The
desert opened my heart and gave me the idea of a new journey.
We have too much, and only this trip in close contact with nature
lets us understand that you need very little to live in serenity.
Carla you have given me a great gift.

Travel-
travel how, when, why on a trip to the desert!!!!!!
Every trip has its own dimension, expectations, goal
..
For me an exploration started perhaps at the end of the last I took.
Every time I get ready to leave I try not to have expectations,
not to know the dimensions, but only the goal, everything else happens
along the way, like a puzzle.
I listen to my external needs that are to walk and stay connected
to nature, whatever it is; from grass to sand, from the hills to
the mountains, from the lake to the sea from small rodents to large
animals, from the color of the sky at sunrise till sunset, from
the artwork that is formed by the dunes of the desert, to the clouds
in the sky, to the spring wind that blows the tender grass newly
born, to the white snow that falls.
It is like this going into the midst of the White Desert in Egypt.
I was immersed in the wind and sand, sand in every part of my body,
in every garment in my luggage, a feeling that I had never experienced,
to feel my lips and eyes full of sand, and yet not having any problems,
or at least not creating a dilemma, I just felt the affect on my
body, the caress of a sandstorm
The nights spent in a tent with the wind blowing, left for me to
cherish
..during the day the gaze widens more and more, or
narrows for the small details, footprints in the sand from my boots,
I thought, in this desert something was left of me, from my energy
and we integrated, the one who gave me striking scenes as a way
to give my legs a boost to keep going, and going
.
This is my memory of what is inside and outside of me, gifts received
from the desert.
